Introduction to Service Delivery

Service Delivery encompasses the key xoserve processes known as Supply Point Administration.

These include the Data Centre services; Query Management; Customer Relationship Management; Billing processes including Credit & Energy Balancing activities; GT Reads and Connections and Registrations.

Service Delivery stores and maintains an industry-wide site register for all supply points connected to the pipelines of the large gas distribution companies - National Grid, Northern Gas Networks, Scotland Gas Networks, Southern Gas Networks and Wales & West Utilities.

As well as providing data to stakeholders regarding this database through the Data Centre and Reporting, Service Delivery is responsible for the calculation validation and timely issuing of Transportation and Energy Balancing invoices on behalf of the gas distributors in line with an agreed billing schedule. Around 29,000 invoices are issued annually with an approximate value of £3 billion pounds. 100% standards are achieved, with no valid invoice queries received.
