Manage Supply Point Registration

Customer Change Team Leader uklink@xoserve.com

Summary

Currently, Priority Consumer Data SHOULD[1] be deleted when a Supply Meter Point goes through a Change of Shipper event (for the avoidance of doubt that this is Contact Details (e.g. data of the nature within S66; S67) and Priority Service Data (e.g. data of the nature within S83; S84 – Medical Conditions / Alternative Contact Details) and ‘Premises_Customer_Name’ and ‘Shippers_Customer_Name’.  The deletion of such data does not occur when there is a Change of Supplier.

Priority Consumer Data is to be deleted at a Change of Supplier Event as the Supplier is responsible for the acquisition - from the end consumer - and maintenance of this information in SAP ISU - via flows to the Shipper, which then send them to the CDSP. In short, the Shipper only passes this information from the Supplier to the CDSP. Failure to delete at a Change of Supplier flow means that the CDSP may pass this data inadvertently to the Supplier who did not provide it.  At the moment it is considered that other controls prevent this being provided.

Secondly, the CDSP is not entitled to retain access to PSR data after the supplier leaves the site and needs to ensure this data is deleted.
