Project Nexus Data Management Workshops (DMW)

Following the publication of the Consultation Conclusions and in line with the Conclusions xoserve planned a number of Workshops to progress the Data Management topics raised.

The purpose of the Workshops was to better understand the views expressed regarding Data Management in response to the Project Nexus Consultation in order:

• To establish potential options and concepts regarding the manner in which industry data should be managed and the extent to which there are stakeholder preferences for different options.
• To understand the scope and nature of further work required to define how the potential options and concepts may affect xoserve services.
• To determine the way-forward for the Data Management topics and the next steps required.
• To consider, if necessary, funding options for any further work required.

The DMWs were cancelled, as there was concern that the scope of the SMIIP could address data and management issues and that effort invested in DMWs could be wasted.
