Chris Dwyer - Head of Contract Management & Procurement
Chris joined Xoserve in November 2021, bringing a wealth of commercial, operational and procurement skills and experience.
With a career spanning across energy, utilities and associated manufacturing sectors, he holds considerable experience in a number of areas. These include: operational management, contracts, procurement, engineering and project management within commercial, regulated and not for profit organisations.
Chris’ first role in the gas industry was with British Gas, where he held a number of engineering, metering, operational and commercial roles. After transitioning from British Gas into Transco, Chris was involved in the successful separation of the new connections and metering business, through the creation of Fulcrum Connections.
Following this time, Chris moved on to apply his skills and learning at E.on, where he headed up their energy connections business.
Looking for a new challenge, Chris then joined Elster/Honeywell as their UK Commercial Director. During his tenure, he participated in the roll-out of SMART metering and PRS/metering controls linked to biomethane. This role was his first foray into manufacturing, but with a direct link back into energy suppliers and the network owners.
More recently, Chris headed up Robin Hood Energy’s (RHE’s) contract department. As part of their senior management team, he was responsible for the controlled and managed exit of RHE from the energy market, which successfully avoided the Supplier of Last Resort process.
