Information Exchange (IX) Refresh

As part of our Change Programme, the Information Exchange (IX) Refresh programme is upgrading all hardware for improved IX network connections and performance.

The IX Refresh Programme

We are changing our network service provider from Vodafone to Gamma. As part of this programme we will be replacing and upgrading the Information Exchange (IX) equipment for all customers.

This will allow us to:

  • consolidate our network services under one contract
  • upgrade sites with old equipment

Final upgrades are expected to be completed during summer 2019.

IX Refresh Service Providers

Gamma will provide our IX Network service, up to and including the router. They are also responsible for the installation, setup and maintenance of the equipment.

Gamma's partners will be responsible for the server and its related software and maintenance.
