Coronavirus (COVID-19) Customer Update

Dear Customers,

I’d like to share my latest update as we continue to support you through the ongoing challenges and impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The final window for Liquidity Relief Scheme Claims will be open from Monday 24th August to Friday 28th August inclusively for the August Billing Period. This relates to Urgent Modification 0726 which allows certain Gas Shippers to apply for extended payment terms on some large Gas Transportation Invoices (excluding Energy Balancing Invoices). Details of the application windows can be found on the application form. Unlike the other temporary Modifications, this Modification had a fixed period of use and was not linked the government’s COVID-19 restrictions, so it would need a further change to Uniform Network Code (UNC) before the relief could be applied to future billing periods.

We continue to monitor the UK government's restrictions and advice on creating a COVID secure workplace and consider how best to ensure the health and safety of our people. It now seems unlikely that Xoserve employees will be able to return to our Lansdowne Gate office en masse before 2021. We realise that will seem a long way off to many of our customers and employees, and we continue to support our employees to help them manage their mental and physical wellbeing.
