New Consumer Enquiry System

As part of our strategic aim to become Operationally Excellent, we have a commitment to making information more accessible across the gas industry through efficient and reliable services.
To extend this commitment to the general public and improve the service we offer, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new online search capability, enabling gas consumers to retrieve data relating to their gas supply. The facility will also help us to enhance the customer experience by adding similar data services together.
This new web-based tool, owned and managed by Xoserve, has been developed in partnership with BackOffice Associates and is free for consumers to use. They simply enter their postcode into the system to retrieve details of their Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN), Gas Supplier and Gas Transporter, all of which is designed to make the switching process simpler and more efficient.

The new tool will replace the M Number Helpline, which Xoserve has operated through Cadent. While users become familiar with the new web portal, it will run in parallel with the M Number Helpline (0870 608 1524).
Over the next 10 months, we aim to enhance this service further to provide our customers with access to data through modern, easy to use systems.
