Sian Baldwin Appointed as Xoserve Chief Executive Officer
Published on 10 Apr 2017
Last November, the Xoserve Board announced that our current Chief Executive, Chris Murray MBE, would be retiring this Summer on completion of 40 years’ service in the industry and that the Board would conduct a search for his successor.
I am delighted to announce that Sian Baldwin has been appointed as Xoserve’s new Chief Executive Officer with effect from 5th June.
Sian is currently a Non-Executive Member of Xoserve’s Board. Prior to this Sian ran BT Infonet (a BT subsidiary business), has held several global CIO positions, worked closely with regulatory bodies and launched several new products to market. Sian brings to the position a deep understanding of highly integrated B2B operating models and platforms, having successfully led many large-scale transformations, equal in size and complexity to Project Nexus. In addition, she is currently a non-executive board member for the UK Statistics Authority.
Sian is joining us at a time of significant change, following on from Xoserve’s appointment as the industry’s Central Data Services Provider and the forthcoming delivery of the UK Link Programme.
I am confident that Sian’s experience and expertise will prove invaluable as she takes over from Chris whose contribution over the past seven years has been outstanding and which the Board will mark in due course.
I am sure you will all join me in congratulating Sian on her appointment and wishing her every success in this new role.
