Summary
Currently the only way a Transporter can amend the status of an MPRN from Live to Dead is a manual ‘one at a time’ process through UK Link. Where a party has identified a large number of incorrect statuses, this manual 'one at a time' process is inefficient and extremely time consuming.
To amend the status of a single MPRN via the current functionality within UK Link is a manual process which requires several actions to be completed. Where many MPRNs are required to be amended, this could take several hours or even days to complete. A bulk MPRN Status request solution would improve efficiency by drastically reducing the time needed to amend MPRNs to the correct status in a timely manner.
