Today we’re launching our 2022 Business Plan Draft Principles and Approach document, the first step in our annual activities to engage with customers on the strategic direction of our business.

Our Draft Principles and Approach document shares the context and thinking behind the development of our 2022 Business Plan and provides the opportunity for our customers to give their views on the investments we believe will deliver the greatest value during the period of April 2022 to March 2025.

“I am delighted to be able to share with you the thinking behind our first Business Plan since the restructure which saw Xoserve change the way it delivers its role as CDSP for the UK gas market,” said new CEO, Stephanie Ward.  “Our new operating model provides an exciting opportunity to build on the improvements made to last year’s business planning process and brings an independence to the quality review process that is rarely achievable when an organisation assures its own performance.”

Once again, this year we’re producing two versions of our 2022 Business Plan Draft Principles and Approach document. They’re both the same document, just laid out differently. We want to give you the choice of how you view our document, whether that be on-screen or printed. One document is presented as single pages and the other as double-page spreads.

What do we need from you?

Our aim is to provide our customers with a thorough understanding of the market context we believe we must respond to, along with our cost drivers and the assumptions we have made along the way. We want to give you ample opportunity to review, understand and challenge our thinking, ensuring that what we do enables and supports your business strategies.

You can find instructions within the document on how you can provide feedback, including specific sections that we’d appreciate your thoughts on. Our consultation is open from Monday 28th June to Wednesday 21st July. Please send your responses to customerexperience@xoserve.com. If you have any questions about our Draft Principles and Approach document, or if you’d like to know more about how we’re developing our 2022 Business Plan, please speak to your Customer Advocate.
