We're carrying out our annual disaster recovery test on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July.

Every year we carry out a disaster recovery test on CMS

As part of this exercise, we confirm that production CMS services can be migrated to a secondary data centre location. This ensures that CMS can continue to operate if we encounter a catastrophic failure with the primary data centre.

This year’s test will take place on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July

This year’s disaster recovery test will begin with the CMS maintenance windows on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July.

You can find specific times and additional information below. During the following times, the CMS will be unavailable.

Failover from the primary site to the secondary site – Saturday 30 July

Midnight to 7am

Failover from the secondary site to the primary site – Sunday 31 July

Midnight to 7am

We don’t anticipate any extended outages during these activities. However if we do encounter any issues, there may be an extended outage until 11am, as we revert the CMS application back.
