Many hydrogen projects are currently underway here in the UK and have reached a point where they will have an imminent impact on stakeholders across the gas industry. We want to ensure that everyone has the information they need to protect their processes and optimise operational efficiency as these changes take place.
HyDeploy is a partnership between Northern Gas Networks, Cadent, the Health and Safety Executive, Keele University, ITM Power and Progressive Energy. HyDeploy is carrying out vital demonstrations to show that the gas network can carry a blend of hydrogen with no impact on the customer’s gas supply.
Introducing hydrogen into the live gas network has ramifications for Annual Quantity (AQ), procurement and invoicing - so for HyDeploy to be a success, collaboration and coordination across the Industry will be essential.
Xoserve is working with stakeholders to better understand and address any obstacles they may have. To ensure that end consumers and industry participants taking part in the HyDeploy Winlaton demonstration near Gateshead, are not adversely affected, we have created a hub on our website that provides information on the processes that will be impacted.
